AXLE STEEL RECORDS 004: TOMORROW'S ECHO - DEATH DISCO
"Tomorrow’s Echo is the collaboration of Sabs Edge (she/her) and Reece Thomas (they/them/she). Born out the pandemic, TE combines their love for gritty diy hardcore and the bleak twangy post punk synth assaults of the 80s. Drawing in influences from Second Empire justice era Blitz and Echo & The Bunnymen to dingy basement hardcore and death rock such as Part 1 and No Trend."

AXLE STEEL RECORDS 006: ZORN - S/T TAPE
Exclusive European re-release for Philadelphia's own ZORN. Ten tracks of blackened weirdo metal punk. Honestly one of my favorite EPs of 2023.
"Zorn’s metal-punk draws on death rock melody, intricate thrash riffing, and the bulldozing power of Discharge-inspired hardcore bands, but the songs are as infectious as they are intense."

AXLE STEEL RECORDS 007: GREY GARDENS - INTO THE SUN TAPE
Exclusive European re-release for GREY GARDENS, originally released on CD in the US by the great people at Setterwind Records. Reworked exclusive cover art by Reece Thomas (the GOAT). Five alt-rock/emo tracks with a heavy 90s flair that will leave you wanting more. Another one of my favorite EPs of 2023.

AXLE STEEL RECORDS 008: NEVER YOURS - REASON TO STAY TAPE
New band alert! Some good friends of mine got together and wrote an instant classic emo/pop-punk record. I've released two of their songs on a promo tape (I think that was AXL-002?) and have been waiting for the whole thing to be ready for over a year now. Thank goodness the wait is over! I've honestly been blasting these six songs ever since they sent me the masters.
